Project: Research Poster and Experiencing + Capturing Space

Project 1 is divided into two session which is Project 1a (Writing Research Proposal) and
Project 1b (Experience & Capture). We are required  to develop a proposal maximum of 3 pages and choose an aspect of the urban site that you are interested in. The following are some of the possible themes which you may select. Hybrid morphology: transition or overlapping between old and new architecture and culture, new interventions.


(Group-30%) This assignment will be undertaken during the study tour. Project involves documentation process by which student is to require collecting and collating as much data as possible, relating to your chosen topic/theme.
 

a.A-4 Sketch book (with captions or annotations) Sketchbook which contains a documentation of your experiences leading towards your chosen team: Experiences and understanding of the site should be documented in a journal, and submitted as an appendix to your final exhibition submission. It should contain sketches, diagramming and annotations. b.Photographic book (with captions or annotations) At least (10) photographs which clearly and creatively capture the topic you have chosen. These photographs must be well composed and deliver the perception of the theme. 






























Project: Analysis and Interpretation
We were  required to analyze and interpret the documentation we have gathered in the study tour. Research poster should show comprehensive documentation of the data gathered and interpreted in a creative and organized manner or format. Each individual (group member) interpretation and analysis should focus on the topic/context assigned.Analyze and interpret the urban and cultural facets of the city in relation to architecture and the built environment.
