Project 1 Memorials themed ‘Journey of the 5 senses’ 

In this project, we are required to design two memorial centres for the Sabah earthquake victims and the refugees in Kedah respectively. We named it as "unpredictable movement" for the earthquake and "unreachable hope" for the refugees. The process was hard as we needed to create poetic spaces rather than a functional space compared to the previous semester. Under the guidance of Ms. Cheryl we managed to finish the project on time. Although there were a lot of misunderstanding between the group mates, we managed to put ourselves together in one peace.

Project 2 GENIUS LOCI: Site Analysis & Concept Development

In this project, we are required to make a site analysis based on the Sungai Lembing that we have visited in three days. We were given 3 sites, which are the ruined areas (site 1), flat area in tunnel site 2 and also the field as site 3 that nearby the town of Sungai Lembing. I had chosen the site 1 as it brings a lot of inspirations to me when I got there. We in a same previous group need to record a short video that is related with the macro site so we could develop to next project. In individual part, we required to focus more on the concept rather than spaces and form. A lot of concept digital models were done for improvement and I did receive a lot of comments and help from my tutor, Mr. T.C.

Project 3 GENIUS LOCI: VISITOR INTERPRETIVE CENTRE (VIC)

In this project, we were required to complete the spaces and form of the visitor interpretive centre building by using the concept from the previous project 2. The building has to be related to the site strongly and also with the concept. I had chosen the Reminiscent as my concept as the place really brought a lot of memories back to me. It made me thought about the time when I was just a kid living in the rural area like Sungai Lembing.
