Project 1: Famous Faces, Familiar Face
In this assignment, we are required to form a group ourselves and at the same time, we have to pick a famous architect and explore everything he did which included the concept, design and building. It is a simple assignment. Instead of making a big model, we just need to explore the concept used by our own architect, Le Corbusier and make a few small models out without any scale. It is just like a thinking process. Every group members push themselves real hard in order to explore what kind of architect he is and what kind of concept he puts into his building, Villa Stein de Monzie. It is a fun experience as this is the first time I make design concept model instead of the whole building throughout the assignment.

Project 2: Picnic Pavilion
In this project, we are required to design a picnic pavilion for a client we choose and the picnic pavilion has to be designed based on his or her personality. The site that we have chosen is a slope field which is located in Port Dickson area. In the area, there are different level of slope and there are a lot of obstacle challenges, like climbing walls. The class is divided into 2 main groups to explore 2 different sites which are the beach and the slope. We are divided into respective small group in order to work on our own parts such as site analysis, animals and plants, climate and weather and so on. For my group, we belong to the climate and weather group so we have to investigate things such as wind direction, sun path and temperature from time to time. It is very hot there and everyone is giving their best in order to work on this project. After that, all of the analysis are combined into one so everyone can share their analysis with each other in order to complete the picnic pavilion project. My chosen client is Laura Messner and she is an obstacle challenger. So we have designed a challenging picnic pavilion based on her personality. The design is like an arrow shape pointing directly to the sea as an indication of forward moving for her personality. The assignment is more challenging than the previous assignment as everything has to be in scale and desinged for respective client.

Project 2B: Beach House at Port Dickson
In this assignment, we are required to design our model for our project 2a client individually. The design has to be connected to the client and also, it has to be connected to the picnic pavilion. My client is Laura Messner and she is an obstacle challenger. She likes to explore obstacle course very much and she is also the coach of obstacle course racing. So I have designed an extraordinary house for her to push her limits and full with adventure. I have explored the spaces, connections, obstacles, flooring, privacy, opening, shapes and also dimension throughout the design process. The house is part of her life adventure and she will never gets tired going on and on with those obstacle stuff in the house. Besides, most parts of the house are open space areas as it is very hot at the site. The area can be cooled down by the wind blowing from the sea. Light penetration is important as well and the building can receive optimum light penetration which brings the client closer to the nature. Opening and closing like space-saving doors gives a strong mystery feeling to her when entering each internal spaces. The tube-slide will actually bring her to the private .swimming pool. The group floor is called as safe zone while the rest of the floors are Wild Zone as there are full of challenges.
