Assignment 1-Sketching

In this assignment, we were required to sketch different types of pictures, which were body part, one point perspective, two points perspective, details, famous buildings, geometry and object by using different types of materials like pencil, artline, charcoal pencil and water color. Through this assignment, I had learnt the basic skills of drawings and it could help me to improve my drawing skill too.

Assignment 2- Scale Drawing

In this assignment, we were required to draw two object based on scale which included plan, side, bottom, section, elevation and detail. It was harder than the previous assignment because everything must be in scale drawing and the measurement must be accurate too. I managed to finish the assignment on time and it was a good experience, as I had learnt how to measure things according to scale and make the measurement become accurate.

Assignment 3- Site Analysis

In this assignment, we were formed in groups and we were required to analysis Taylor's chosen site which includes the site plan, temperature, weather, arrangement, humidity, people, activity, and so on, Every drawing was needed to be drawn according to scale and the site measurement has to be done before the drawing part. It included elevation, section, plan and so on. After that we were required to draw all the analysis on the mounting board. Through this assignment, I had learnt how to analysis a site and I knew how to measure a site properly for the drawing.

Assignment 4- Model and Drawing (Final Project)

In this assignment, we were required to design a bookstand according to the concept of Picasso, Graffiti or Pixar. The objects we designed must be related to those concept and the object was given a maximum measurement of 1.5mX1.5m. The drawing must include plan, elevation, section, site plan, materials used, idea development and 150 words pf introduction. Through this assignment, I had learnt how to design a model myself based on the concept of Picasso and also, I managed to build the model out according to the scale accurately.
