Assignment 1: Presentation Board and Analytical Essays
In this assignment, it is divided into 2 parts which are the presentation board ( group work) and analytical essay (individual work) . We are required to make a presentation board based on the architect we chose, Le Corbusier. On the board, we will have to put in the plans, elevation , sections and so on about one of the building of Le Corbusier, Villa Stein de Monzie. For the essay part, each of us choose a topic like spatial organization, facade, material, texture and so on of Villa Stein de Monzie. We also have to use it to compare with another famous architect, Tadao Ando with his building, The Koshino House in order to find the similarities and differences among the 2 buildings.
